The Best Bacon and Waffles Recipe You’ll Ever Try
Ingredients
- 2 C Flour
- 3 t Baking Powder
- 1/4 t Salt
- 2 Eggs (Separated)
- 2 C Milk (sometimes we need to add a bit more)
- 1 Pkg Bacon
- 6 T Bacon Grease (if making without bacon, use melted shortening)
Directions
- Cut and cook bacon. Set bacon aside and save grease.
- Mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Add egg yolks, milk, and bacon grease (or shortening). Mix.
- Beat egg whites until stiff. Fold in beaten egg whites
- Fold in cooked bacon.
- Cook in the waffle iron and enjoy with butter and syrup!
