Um… did you know you were supposed to clean your washing machine? I sure didn’t. Turns out it is very important to run a cleaning cycle on your washing machine regularly. Apparently, you get buildup inside the drum and it can transfer odors right back onto your clothes. Disgusting.

It’s also super important to not overload the washer so that your clothes can have the space they need to move around with the detergent and get fully rinsed. It also turns out that too much detergent can actually trap odors in instead of removing them. Who knew?!
